Pop Up Shop Kullagatan

In Autumn we had a two week POP UP SHOP at Kullagatan in Helsingborg. Felicia was the leading one in this project. This was our first time being in local on ground floor because when Ballroom Blitzz open up the first time our idea was to have our concept in an apartment store and ever since then we have continued to have it there.

Being at the 100 year old shopping street Kullagatan was nothing new for Monica- CEO and founder. She was also the owner of a luxurious and an ancients watch store Carlssons Ur for 17 years before starting her new business.

Bad Ass Ceramics

Manufacturing process, 12-20 days, depending on drying time. Each lump of clay is then weighed on a scale before it either gets turned on the pottery wheel, slab rolled and put in a mold, or coiled together into a shape. These are the methods used in our studio.

The pieces are glaze fired to about 1235-1260 degrees. A certain percentage of the ceramic goods don’t make it.

The pieces may be slightly uneven, not exactly the same size or color and they probably come in limited editions. But slightly uneven stacks of plates or cups on your kitchen shelves is the trademark of personality, individuality, charm and love.

With a studio in Rekekroken- the mecca of pottery in Sweden, Lotta’s Bad Ass Ceramics are only sold in selected stores and we are very happy to have this fire ceramics.

All of the ceramic products are made of stoneware, a very hard and durable clay, perfectly safe for the dishwasher, oven and micro. They’re also safe to eat on and won’t react to foods with high acidity content, like lemon juice, vinegar or wine.

Vi har nya planer för BALLROOM BLITZZ och byter location. Samma goda koncept, en lägenhetsbutik lite längre upp på Drottninggatan i Helsingborg. 

Nu finns 125kvm till uthyrning mitt på Drottninggatan i centrala Helsingborg. Nära till kaféer och restauranger. Gångavstånd till centralen och busstation precis utanför.
En gammal sekelskifteslägenhet med 4 meter i takhöjd, stuckatur, kalkfärg i rummen, två badrum, pentry, fyra stora rum och hall. 

Passande för showroom, fotostudio, kontor eller en kreativ plats för ett team. Är du den nya hyresgästen eller någon som känner någon?

Snart fortsätter Ballroom Blitzz drömmen på nya vägar. Det kommer bli en stor invigning såklart! Vi ses.

There’s always a story behind every candle, fragrance etc. This one is like this:

“In a hotel of Havana, under the fixed sun of the Revolution : the fierce and partisan overtones of leather and tobacco meddle with the paneling’s waxen silence. In the cool dimness, fawn grimaces shimmer along with the smoke of cigars and the barrels of guns”

It’s our all time favorite candle of their collection. Hand-crafted glass, emblem and cotton wick. Lovely.

The base: Amber, Leather, Moss, Tobacco.

The heart: Clove, Labdanum, Oak Wood, Patchouli.

The head: Bergamot, Grapefruit, Rhum.

Now we took Ballroom Blitzz the apartment store to another level of a concept store.
ROBIN IBORN, an artist, photographer, DJ and dreamer came and showed his garden of flowers.

"Blommor" is the Swedish word for flowers, which means that the following material that you see on Ballroom Blitzz's vernissage are my flowers. I tale pictures. They are my way to leave a mark on this planet, I create, define, polish and capture moments.
